Deep Bhattacharya is currently Vice President of Care Solutions Technology and Technology at Eastman. He has been with Eastman for 15 years and has had several positions in the technology and marketing organizations. Prior to his current role, Deep was Director, Global Coatings Technology.
Deep has Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from India and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Polymer Science from the State University of New York. He recently completed the Executive Scholars Program in General Management from Northwestern University. He has five U.S. patents and several publications in peer reviewed journals. Deep currently is on the Editorial Review Board for the Journal of Coatings Technology and Research, Scientific and Technical Committee of the American Coatings Association and is also a Committee Member for the Tess Award which is organized by the American Chemical Society - Division of Polymer Science and Engineering.
