Jordan Baumbach is a research biologist in the Synthetic Biology Tools branch at the Army Research Laboratory. The branch works on developing synthetic biology tools mainly for non-model organisms. Her research focusses on developing and implementing tools for filamentous fungal organisms. Jordan received her Ph.D. in Genetics from Iowa State University Department of Agronomy. Her research focused on the molecular genetics of soybean-fungal pathogen interactions.
