Navid Zanganeh, PhD, CFEI, is a Senior Associate in the Thermal Sciences practice at Exponent (10370 Richmond Ave, Suite 230, Houston, TX 77042; Email: nzanganeh@exponent.com). He assists clients in the investigation of industrial fires and explosions as well as various mechanical equipment and system failures. Prior to joining Exponent, Zanganeh was a scientist and materials characterization lab manager at an oil and gas services company that provided analytical testing and analysis. He obtained a BS in chemical engineering from Razi Univ. in Iran, a MS from Amirkabir Univ. of Technology in Iran, and a PhD from Mississippi State Univ.
