(346bi) Data and Information Management for Pharma 4.0

Authors

As industry marches towards Pharma 4.0, data and information management becomes central to a robust data strategy. This strategy includes data capture, automation, analytics, modeling and knowledge management, which all rely on connected, free-flowing information. Given the wide variety of data types and sources, managing these flows is a great challenge. By leveraging modern technologies, digitization and culture enhancement, these complex flows can be streamlined into robust data pipelines that provide faster, wider access to data and knowledge that supports quicker and more informed decisions.

Data pipelines and integrations have many practical uses. One such use is that when data is readily available, models can have access to the most recent and relevant inputs, like new or updated material properties. Another use is the automated capture and recording of lab testing. An example pipeline will be shown that highlights the connection of lab testing, a material property database and updated model results.

Areas of interest include structured and unstructured data capture, automation, dashboarding, democratization of models, and knowledge tracking.
