Agile and Scrum have a long history of success in developing and deploying software products. We will describe our experience building an agile mindset and implementing agile frameworks, particularly Scrum, in product and technology development in a diversified manufacturing setting. Topics covered will include what we’ve learned about the preconditions and leading indicators of successfully using these approaches in a variety of businesses, lessons learned and adaptations made in using the Scrum framework, and some thoughts on measuring success. Case studies will be used to illustrate these points.
