(535e) Fluidization with Supercritical Fluids

Supercritical fluids offer unique opportunities for process intensification including as fluidizing media. The sensitivity of transport and thermodynamic properties at such conditions bring forth unique possibilities limited to only fluidization with such fluids. This presentation aims to illustrate the potential through both experimental and modeling of select examples in pharmaceutical and energy domains.
