The Chinese hamster genome provides a critical resource for the biotechnology community and is used in numerous ways. Recent improvements to the reference genome are enabling a wide range of studies that benefit the manufacturing of biopharmaceuticals. These impacts include ways to model and predict glycosylation as well as opportunities to impact host cell protein profiles.
