Overview of the NSF CBET Environmental Engineering and Sustainability (EES) Cluster: Core Programs and Convergence Research Opportunities

The CBET EES Cluster is structured around three core programs: 1) Environmental Engineering, 2) Environmental Sustainability and 3) Nanoscale Interactions. This presentation will give an overview of the core programs of the CBET EES cluster. We will also highlight convergence research funded by the EES cluster with a focus on recent RAPID funded projects on wastewater-based epidemiology and the dynamics of pathogen transmission in the natural and built environment.
