(202i) A Journey in Research- Coming Full Circles

Beginning with the dissertation “Nitric Oxide Kinetics in Biological Solutions” under the direction of William Deen, initial research in academia involved nitric oxide applications to biomedical systems. Eventually, research efforts focused on syngas fermentation, biofuel cells, and humanitarian engineering but recent research efforts have returned back to the roots of nitric oxide applications. Research highlights throughout the journey will be presented with an emphasis on how William Deen has impacted the journey.
