Wang, H. - Presenter, Rice University
In traditional electrolyzers, liquid products generated from CO2 reduction is in a mixture with salts in liquid electrolyte, which necessities energy- and cost-intensive downstream product separations. In this presentation I will introduce the design of solid electrolyte reactors and selective catalysts for a direct and continous generation of high purity liquid products (formic acid, acetic acid) from CO2 reduction.
