(306b) Sustainable Plastics at NRC: Towards Zero Plastic Waste and Circular Economy

The National Research Council of Canada (NRC) is working intensively on the development of environmentally friendly plastic products for industrial applications such as packaging, transportation, and medical devices. This presentation will cover some of the research areas investigated by the NRC, including the valorization of forest and agricultural residues into polymer products, the development of compostable products, and the conversion of plastic waste into useful materials or molecules.
