About the speaker: Dr. Jay T. Dolmage is a professor of English language and literature at the University of Waterloo. He is committed to disability rights in his scholarship, service, and teaching. His work brings together rhetoric, writing, disability studies, and critical pedagogy. He is the author of Academic Ableism: Disability and Higher Education (2017) and Disability Rhetoric (2014). He is also the founding editor of the Canadian Journal of Disability Studies.
