The immune system relies upon diverse antigen recognition to distinguish between normal cells and those altered by infection or cancer. This diversity can make determining exactly what is recognized during an immune response challenging. I will discuss new techniques we have developed to identify what is recognized during the course of successful immune responses, what antigens should be targeted in treatments, and how to better design immunotherapies.
