Chiral supramolecular nanostructures with optoelectronic functions are expected to open new opportunities in many scientific and technological fields. I will introduce fabrication of chiral supramolecular assemblies using organic semiconductors and their structure-chiroptical property relationships. I will present synthesis of chiral supramolecular biocoordination polymers and their applications in various sensors. I will also introduce a skeleton merging approach through distortion of a perylene diimide core with four fused heteroaromatics, which enables high-performance broadband circularly polarized light detections up to NIR spectral region. These findings provide guidelines for enhancing chiroptical properties using supramolecular chirality and rational molecular design toward high-performance chiral optoelectronics.
