(82a) New High-Performance Hydrocracking Catalyst Platform

Honeywell UOP has a rich history of innovation in hydrocracking catalyst development and we have consistently renewed our portfolio by introducing new hydrocracking catalysts with improved performance. Recently, using fundamental science and state-of-the-art characterization techniques, we have developed a family of hydrocracking catalysts which has superior performance over our existing catalyst portfolio. These catalysts were developed on a newly improved commercial base tailored with desirable pore structure. The metals system was also optimized to achieve optimum interactions between the active metals and the catalyst support. In the presentation, details of the development of this new catalyst platform along with advanced characterization results and catalytic performance will be discussed.
