Implementing and Accelerating Autonomous Closed-Loop Control

Bayesian Optimization is a new machine learning method that can accelerate the path from automation to autonomous manufacturing. We will discuss the benefits of Bayesian Optimization, how it compares to more traditional methods such as APC and MPC, and how it can be used to optimize a real fermentation process. More broadly, we will show how this new technology enables accelerated DoE, product development, and fully autonomous manufacturing with closed-loop AI control.
