Although membranes have been used for fuel cells in energy conversion and electricity generation, membranes are gaining momentum for electrochemical conversions and applications, including harvesting solar energy, alkane-to-olefin conversion, CO2 conversion, etc. Original and review papers on membranes for electrochemical conversions and applications are sought. We will include papers on fundamental understanding through theory, modeling, and controlled experiments as well as engineering, applications and scale-up studies.
