Recent Progress in Biomaterials Innovation and Translation I (Invited Talks)

Biomaterials science and engineering has gained increasing importance at the forefront of interdisciplinary research. There are increasing demands for advanced biomaterials to tackle unmet clinical problems. In this session, the recent developments and breakthroughs of biomaterials, including those that may contribute to COVID-9 treatments will be discussed. Challenges and opportunities in Biomaterials translation will also be discussed. Mixed presentations from industry and academia are expected. This session is co-sponsored by the Regenerative Engineering Society and Chinese Association for Biomaterials.
