(273c) A Hybrid Liquid Phase Peptide Synthesis (LPPS) Facility

A cGMP manufacturing facility employing both small volume continuous (SVC) and traditional batch equipment to produce synthetic peptides. Feed make-up vessels, SVC skids operating in fume hoods, nanofiltration purification skids, surge vessels, precipitation vessels and agitated filter/dryers are all employed to enable production at metric ton scale. The distributed control system controls and monitors the process in conjunction with on-line process analytics and electronic batch records. Finally, a digital batch genealogy model is used to streamline batch release.
