Abstract Text:
Tetrahydrofuran and dimethyl carbonate are useful compounds used widely in process engineering. The vapor-liquid and solid-liquid equilibria for systems containing tetrahydrofuran and dimethyl carbonate are useful for distillation and crystallization process design. The authors have published some papers on measurement of phase equilibria for systems containing tetrahydrofuran and dimethyl carbonate [1-3]. ASOG model is one of group contribution models [4-7].
This paper deals with determination of ASOG group pair parameters relating to CH2, ArCH, CyCH, OH, H2O, O, COO, OCOO and THF groups.
