(59h) Engineering Immunity: A biomaterials and biomanufacturing perspective

In this presentation, we will discuss two emerging areas of ImmunoEngineering. First, we will present strategies to use materials-based modulation of vaccines and Immunotherapies, specifically in developing robust mucosal vaccines against SARS-Cov2. Second, we will present our work on combining materials, data science, and process control concepts for scalable biomanufacturing of functional immune cell subsets, especially in T and B cell manufacturing.
