Applied Math for Biological Systems: Plants and Microbes

Chair(s)

Islam, M. M., University of Nebraska-Lincoln

Co-chair(s)

Badr, K., Auburn University

This session features abstracts pertaining to the application of mathematical modeling and analysis, numerical methods, and/or scientific computing to biological systems involving plants and/or microbes. Topics of interest include modeling, simulation, control, data analysis, uncertainty quantification, networked systems, deterministic or stochastic techniques, differential equations, distributed parameter systems, etc. Contributions that identify or formulate mathematical/computational problems relevant to biological systems and address them with novel or established approaches from applied mathematics are encouraged.
