Inorganic Materials for Electrochemical Energy Storage

Chair(s)

Co-chair(s)

Inorganic materials are heavily used in electrochemical energy storage as electrodes and other components. The ever-increasing demand for better-performing energy storage devices necessitates an understanding of the degradation mechanisms and engineering of existing materials, as well as the development of new materials. This session will bring together a diverse group of interdisciplinary scientists and engineers to fast-track the development of inorganic materials for electrochemical energy storage, which will have a significant impact on the global challenge of mitigating climate change.
