Plenary Session: Computational Molecular Science and Engineering Forum (Invited Talks)
Wednesday, October 30, 2024 - 4:10pm to 4:30pm
A chiral tetramer model will be introduced. It is inspired by the geometry of the smallest and simplest chiral molecule, hydrogen peroxide. The model exhibits rich fluid-phase behavior, including chiral symmetry breaking. The underlying thermodynamics and phase transition kinetics will be discussed, as well as some possible implications for the origin of biological homochirality.
