Biorenewable resource engineering for food, health and environmental applications II

Chair(s)

Yang, S. T., Ohio State University

Co-chair(s)

Qin, Z., Ohio State University

This session highlights recent progresses in biorenewable resource development and production for converting agricultural biomass and industrial waste streams (including CO2 and syngas) into fuels, chemicals, and value-added bioproducts for food, health, and environmental applications. Papers highlighting strain engineering, upstream processing (biomass pretreatment and hydrolysis, fermentation, etc.), downstream processing (product separation, etc.), and integrated biorefinery are welcome and will be considered for this session. Both laboratory and industrial scale studies from academia and industry are invited for submission to this session.
