(36b) Leadership in Crisis

Leadership in time of crisis. How to lead an organization to plan for worst case scenarios (preoccupation with failure) and then how to lead an organization when the crisis event occurs. This talk will bring in relevant scenarios from major events like the response to Harvey and other unplanned events impacting the industry. It will also share some thoughts on the need to consider worst case scenarios, emergency preparedness, expecting the unexpected, during our technical work as engineers.
