Braskem, known as a leading innovator in petrochemical sustainability, also has a robust transformation agenda preparing for megatrends that could reshape the industry as we know it. In his talk, Kevin will share some real-world examples of exponential change and how disruptive it can be to the most well-established of industries. Exponential change is all around us, but we as humans are often terrible at perceiving and forecasting that change until large disruptions occur. Kevin will talk through four key megatrends impacting the petrochemical industry – Mobility, Energy, Digitization, and Sustainability – and give some examples of how these areas could be disrupted and how Braskem is preparing and embracing these changes.
