In facilities handling or generating combustible dust, identifying, analyzing, and mitigating the thermal hazards associated with these materials is vital to keeping workers safe. This presentation will draw on the first-hand experience of the presenters to outline best practices for efficiently and effectively performing dust hazard analyses (DHAs) of both new and existing processes. The presentation will walk attendees through the steps necessary to prepare and perform a DHA, identify common mitigation strategies, and present an example case study.
