Chemical engineers are smart and know how to use data to solve problems, whether they are focused on one technical area or broad systemic challenges. Top leaders know how to use emotions as data and use another intelligence called "emotional intelligence" to help solve challenges, especially in the times of crisis. In this session learn how to more quickly probe your own emotions in the moment and better sense the emotions of others in order to better align team project or company needs with personal motivations. In this session, learn more about the intelligence of emotions and how to help your team excel. A case study on how teams quickly formed and responded during the COVID-19 crisis will be highlighted.
