(161c) Cyber-Informed Chemical Engineering

From design to production to delivery, 21^st Century chemical engineering takes full advantage of ever-increasing computer and communications capabilities. And in so doing, has made itself dependent on digital technologies that are now vulnerable to a range of cyber adversaries, from criminals to nation states and everything in between. In this talk, Andy will describe the most relevant cyber risks of concern to the AICHE community as well as what some other industrial industries are doing to better understand and demonstrably reduce their risks.
