(162c) Matching the Cleaning Method to Your Operational Goals.

Philion, R. - Presenter, Orange Cleantech Inc.
There are many choices available when it comes to the cleaning of heat exchangers. Over the last number of years, there has been much discussion about matching your cleaning method to the type(s) of fouling present within the heat exchanger in question. Great approach. But what if your present set of circumstances does not allow you to choose the method best suited to removing the fouling?

This presentation looks at this very question and takes it a step further. We will review how goals surrounding: operation, asset longevity and cost avoidance, can often play a major factor in the decisions we make, for cleaning heat exchangers.

This presentation will talk to the latest advancements in ALL cleaning categories. We will walk the audience through a few industry case examples, where combining particular cleaning methods have led to the achievement of both operational goals and key cleaning objectives.
