Efficiency determination of the aeration tank for biological wastewater treatment requires the use of computer simulation and laboratory study. The main purpose of the presentation is to talk about development of optimization model and evaluation for the operation efficiency of aeration tanks. An optimization model has been developed for the computer calculation of the biological wastewater treatment process in aerotanks. The model is based on mass conservation equations and the Monod model. The software implementation of the constructed model has been carried out. The results of a computational experiment on the study of the wastewater treatment process in an aeration tank are presented. This leads to the possibility for the quality control of wastewater treatment in aeration tanks.
