Safety in Design is key to success for safe and reliable operation of any process facility. Investment at design stage safety can bring excellent reputation, business opportunities and efficient operation for any organization. However, project capital cost is closely related to required safety investment. Some companies do suffer at design stage by saving some capital cost and later suffering with huge number of process safety incidents and reliability incidents, On the other hand some companies are avoiding it by investing required capital and get rid of such issues. In this presentation we would be discussing required loss prevention plan which can help organization to effectively invest in safety to avoid catastrophes during facility life span.
