In line with Fatima Group’s vision & Process Safety Management requirements, Fatima Fertilizers Company Limited established comprehensive emergency response program as the major corner-stone. Company believes that robust Emergence Response Plan implementation equates to enhance safety, people & environment protection, plant reliability and business continuity. Company has highly organized, properly-trained and sufficiently-equipped team to effectively respond and limit the damaging effects of calamity.

Salient features of company emergency response plan include internal & external communication system, pre-plan emergency scenarios, evacuation routes marking, people assembling at assembly points, emergency & all clear sirens, buildings fire alarms, manual emergency call points, emergency extensions and radios/Motorola etc. Weekly and quarterly emergency mock drills exercised to test emergency response system functionality and stakeholder’s engagement in emergency response planning.

Fatima site emergency resources comprise of operations personnel, incident commander, emergency response squad, medical staff, main control center, rear control center and security staff. Front control center team is equipped with two fire trucks, ambulance, Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus, fire suits, fire monitors, full face masks, first aid kits, emergency stretcher etc. In presence of above structured Emergency Response Plan, company emergency response squad can handle successfully any major and minor fire incidents and chemical releases.

Existence of above wide-ranging and exceptional emergency response program is the pledge for process safety sustenance.
