(67c) Guidelines for Revalidating a Process Hazard Analysis

Updating and Revalidating Process Hazard Analyses (PHA) is an update of the 2001 CCPS book "Revalidating Process Hazard Analyses". In the ensuing twenty years since the publication of the first edition there have been many changes and improvements relevant to how PHAs are conducted. This updated edition addresses the complementary analyses and supplemental risk assessments, from a global perspective, that often are incorporated into current PHAs. This new edition presents a road map for new and experienced practitioners to help guide them in preparing, conducting, and documenting a PHA revalidation.

This paper will present an overview of the book contents and highlight how the book will serve to enhance the knowledge and provide insight and guidance to those who are involved with PHAs and responsible for updating and revalidating PHAs .
