Application of Process Simulators for Industrial Wastewater, Water, and Water Reuse

Over the past 3 decades, dynamic computer models within process simulators have become the mainstay of process design for wastewater treatment using biological treatment processes. In recent years, these models have been extended to include all unit processes in wastewater treatment including water reuse and water treatment. Current interest in “digital twins” and advanced analytical tools is also raising interest in process simulation for a wide range of applications. This session will provide an overview of process simulation for industrial wastewater, water and water reuse and live demonstrations of modeling examples.
