With the growing demand for plastics around the world, interest in plastic waste management is growing. However, the most plastic waste is going to landfills or natural environment. Therefore, the development of technology for plastic recycling is essential, and the technology for chemical recycling is concentrated, especially to solve environmental problems or net zero carbon emission. In this study, for the chemical recycle of waste plastics, we conducted a process technology development to hydroprocess the pyrolysis oil obtained from the waste plastics processing company in south korea and put it into the NCC process, which is the existing petrochemical process. The experiment conducted research on the effects of temperature, which is the main operating variable, in a bench-scale continuous equipment, and the physical properties and composition changes in feedstock and products. As a result, the impurity(N, Cl, O) removal ratio was obtained by up to 90%.
