With the advances in machine-learning and more wide-spread deployment of ML-models in the chemical and energy industries, efficient optimization strategies for data-driven and hybrid models are becoming increasingly important. This session invites papers focused on the application of optimization to data-driven models in manufacturing. Topics of interest include applications, theoretical considerations, new challenges, algorithms, and development and deployment workflows for all kinds of optimization challenges in the chemical industry.
