Digital Transformation in Industry 4.0 I
Tuesday, March 26, 2024 - 2:00pm to 2:30pm
Digital Transformation has been around for more than 10 years so it is no longer a question if companies should transform digitally or not. It is time to review some key benefits that have been achieved, which will help you understand where to identify opportunities to transform.
When chemical companies are trying to advance their business, it is typically in the areas of productivity, efficiency, security, and sustainability. Optimizing production processes by using digital technologies such as AI, data analytics, and secure networks is common nowadays. But one challenge remains: which of these technologies are relevant to you and your company?
One way to gain insight of âthe best digital fit for your companyâ is to assess where you currently stand and to measure the gap to the best-in-class performers in your industry. Analyzing these gaps will help to identify areas of improvement, and by closing these gaps you can ensure to stay relevant in a highly competitive environment. To demonstrate how this can be done, we will discuss a framework for assessing your plant and defining a vision of the plant of the future.
The format of this session will be a brief, introductory presentation with interactive elements in the first half, and an open discussion involving the audience in the second half.
During this presentation you will gain the following insights / participate in the following discussions:
- Hear about findings and success stories from multiple years of digital transformation projects in the chemical industry
- How to streamline a digital transformation concept for your company
- Participate in an open discussion about different approaches, perspectives, and success stories with your industry peers
