TUBACOAT is a unique disruptive proven technology for refining, chemical and petrochemical critical applications processing difficult feedstock including biomass, a game changer for the industry for OPEX and CAPEX reduction, decarbonization and biomass processing. This Innovative and customized silica-based inert coating technology from Tubacex Group provides anti-fouling, anti-corrosion and anti-coking properties in harsh environments and extreme temperatures (800oC/1472oF), making TUBACOAT useful in almost all refineries and petrochemical applications, focusing on delayed cokers, visbreakers, cracking, crude vacuum distillation unit furnaces, resid processing, biomass processing, pyrolysis and similar units.
In Most refining conversion units such as delayed coker and others, Unscheduled shutdowns, high maintenance, reduced heat transfer, higher fuel consumption and throughput reduction due to furnace and heat exchanger tube coking, fouling and corrosion is a common problem. TUBACOAT technology minimizes formation, deposition and plugging due to coke/carbon in addition to reduction in fouling, corrosion and fuel usage. Use of TUBACOAT technology in these application leads to longer runs, incremental life cycle for equipment, reliable operations, increased heat transfer, reduced fuel consumptions, reduced CO2 emissions and hence significant savings in OPEX and CAPEX.
Results and case studies from various commercial field trials and runs with major US, Europe, Asia refineries and new applications using Tubacoat technology covered in this presentation. Results include advantages of resistance of ceramic coated tubes to various forms of coking, corrosion, fouling, scaling, plugging, abrasion and the expected cost savings.
