In the era of big data, effective data exploration is paramount. An essential requirement is a versatile tool capable of seamlessly navigating vast datasets to extract critical insights, unleashing the full potential of data understanding. By combining dimensionality reduction, clustering, and machine learning techniques, we usher in a new tool for data comprehension.
JMP-Fastman emerges as a dynamic add-on to the existing JMP software by SAS. Leveraging the robust JMP platform, we harness its extensive array of features, particularly its powerful visualization capabilities. Moreover, the visualizations created maintain seamless connectivity with the underlying data, allowing users to effortlessly interact between plots and data tables.
The primary objective of Fastman-JMP is to provide users with a fresh perspective on big data, making it more comprehensible and actionable. Following data preprocessing, dimensionality reduction, and clustering algorithms come into play. These transformations unveil underlying trends and potential data anomalies or faults. We gain insights into how processes evolve over time, with the ability to pinpoint the variables most responsible for deviations or faults. These reduced projections can be visualized in 2D and 3D, facilitating comparisons between different dimensionality reduction and clustering algorithm outputs. Additionally, the tool offers valuable features such as sensitivity analysis, hyperparameter optimization, and self-organizing maps.
After the culmination of the data exploration phase, the tool empowers users with the capability to fashion predictive models, thereby expanding its utility beyond mere analysis. Fastman-JMP offers an array of robust features for crafting both classification and regression models, capitalizing on the rich insights extracted during the initial data exploration process. This multifaceted functionality proves especially invaluable in industrial settings, where it finds practical application in tasks such as the development of soft sensors tailored for monitoring operational data. In essence, Fastman-JMP not only illuminates data intricacies but also propels users towards data-driven decision-making and predictive excellence, enhancing its role as an indispensable asset in the world of data analytics.
In this presentation, we will delve into real-world use cases, demonstrating the versatile applications of Fastman-JMP across a wide spectrum of fields. Fastman-JMP is poised to redefine the landscape of data exploration and fault detection, empowering users to unlock hidden insights within their data.
