(61b) Patent Litigation Trends in the US and Beyond

This presentation provides an overview of patent litigation trends within the US and globally. Patent litigation is a topic of focus for the legal departments of many companies. Non-practicing entities, or NPEs, account for a large percentage of patent litigation each year. This presentation will explore trends in patent litigation filings by both operating companies and NPEs within the US. Many companies do not only have domestic operations and their patent litigation risk extends globally. This presentation will provide insight into the global patent filing and patent litigation landscape.
