With the projected decline in transportation fuels production crude suppliers will be looking for alternative outlets for their products. Simultaneously chemicals producers will be looking for new feeds to satisfy the growing demand for petrochemicals. Crude to chemicals route promise to address both problems.
Conventional crude to chemicals refineries are capital intensive, with high utility consumptions and the resulting high carbon dioxide emissions. TC2C⢠is an award winning innovative process that combines process intensification, tailored catalysts and chemistry, and advanced separation devices to reduce both CAPEX and energy consumption. Decreased energy consumption will reduce emissions directly, but the process can be enhanced by sustainable solutions such as zero carbon fuels or electrification to have net zero scope one emissions.
