How can heat exchangers benefit from the application of digital and IoT technologies? This Session explores the latest development in the field of digitalization for improving the design, operation and maintenance of heat exchangers. In particular, the Session will focus on how to gather process data and leverage on them through digital technologies such as distributed systems, edge computing, artificial Intelligence, and digital-twins, and what are the main challenges associated. Submission of case-studies and practical applications are particularly welcome.
