Fouling is a ubiquitous and a long-standing problem in the process industry. Fouling related issues negatively impact production and operations, reduce energy efficiency, increase costs and greenhouse gas emissions. Papers in this Session cover various aspects of fouling including, but not limited to, modelling, characterization and mitigating technologies such as chemicals, coatings tube inserts and other solutions that enable fouling mitigation.
