Zymergen's Biofacturing Platform

At Zymergen, we partner with Nature to make novel, breakthrough products and materials. These products rely on the molecular diversity found in Nature to provide functionality unavailable from conventional sources. Given a market need, we can quickly develop and manufacture a relevant product. Integral to our ability to accomplish this is our Biofacturing Platform: an end-to-end integrated system for product discovery, microbe creation, and scale-up.

This talk will introduce Zymergen's Biofacturing platform and highlight some key technologies that enable identification of a relevant application-specific active ingredient molecule and rapid engineering of a prototype microbe that produces it.
