He is the Ame and Catherine Vennema professor of chemical engineering and the Arthur F. Thurnau professor at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Dr. John W. Prados, is Vice President and University Professor Emeritus at the University of Tennessee, where he served for more than 50 years. A consultant for industry, government, and education, he was also Senior Education Associate in the NSF Engineering Directorate.
