Saad is a board member & treasurer at the AIChE Saudi local section, advisor to the Saudi YPC & student program, as well as a member of the AIChE international committee.
Saad joined Saudi Aramco in 1988 and graduated from King Fahad University of Petroleum & Minerals in 1993 with a Chemical Engineering deggree.
Prof. Chmelka received his Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of California, Berkeley (in 1990) and his B.S. degree in chemical engineering from Arizona State University. Following receipt of his PhD, he was a NSF Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in Chemistry at the University of California-Berkeley with Prof. Alexander Pines and a NSF-NATO Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Max-Planck-Institute for Polymer Research in Mainz, Germany with Prof. Hans Spiess.Read more
