Jovan Kamcev

Jovan Kamcev immigrated to the United States from Macedonia at 11 years of age. Jovan attended Brooklyn Technical High School in New York City, where he majored in Chemistry. During this period, his interest in Chemistry and Mathematics grew, so he decided to enroll at Stony Brook University, where he double majored in Chemical Engineering and Applied Math and Statistics. Jovan was introduced to scientific research during summer internships at Columbia University Medical Center, Columbia University Department of Biomedical Engineering, and Brookhaven National Laboratory.Read more

Christine E. Duval

Christine Duval graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2011 with a degree in Chemical Engineering. During her undergraduate studies she worked as a research analyst at the Connecticut Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation where she consulted for technology based start-up companies. After graduation she was hired by Amastan LLC, a Connecticut-based start-up company that specializes in plasma technologies, as the Director of Marketing. She left the company in the fall of 2012 to begin her graduate studies in Chemical Engineering at Clemson University with Scott Husson.Read more

Darsh Wasan

Darsh Wasan is the University Distinguished Professor, Motorola Chair in Chemical Engineering and Vice President for International Affairs at Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT). George Weeden

George S. Weeden Jr. was born in Joliet, Illinois, USA. In 2007, he graduated from Lowell High School in Indiana and entered Purdue University in the Fall of the same year. During his undergraduate stay, he worked with Professor Linda Wang and was introduced to research in the area of separations, specifically chromatography. In May of 2011, he graduated from Purdue with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering. Mark Burns

Dr. Mark Burns is the T. C. Chang Professor of Engineering and Anthony C. Lembke Department Chair of Chemical Engineering at the University of Michigan. He obtained his BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and his MS and PhD in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
