Dr. Johnny Huard is a Professor, Distinguished Chair for Orthopaedic Research, and Vice Chair for Research in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). In addition, Dr. Huard is the Director for Tissue Engineering and Aging Research at The Brown Foundation Institute of Molecular Medicine for the Prevention of Human Diseases.Read more

Richard Russell

Mr. Russell began his career in 1986 at the Naval Aviation Depot in Pensacola, Florida. In 1989 he joined NASA's Kennedy Space Center as a Quality Engineer.  In 1992, he moved to the Shuttle Engineering Project Office serving as a Materials and Processes (M&P) Engineering expert.  In 1996, Mr. Russell left NASA and worked in aircraft manufacturing and design at The Aerostructures Corporation in Nashville, Tennessee and Bell Helicopter in Ft. Al Sacco

Al Sacco Jr. is dean of the Edward E. Whitacre Jr. College of Engineering at Texas Tech University in Lubbock Texas. Before coming to Texas Tech, he was the George A. Snell Distinguished Professor of Engineering and the director of the Center for Advanced Microgravity Materials Processing at Northeastern University.

He flew as the payload specialist on the Space Shuttle Columbia on shuttle mission STS-73 in 1995. The 16-day mission aboard Columbia focused on materials science, biotechnology, combustion science and fluid mechanics contained within the pressurized Spacelab module....Read more
